Our Beginnings - Your Future
Men in the community started to talk about how men in the community could get more involved. Many men spoke with the Chaplain, Linton Worrall, about their interest in helping people in the community and getting to know themselves and others better.
This is an environment where all men are welcomed. It is a safe, open place where every man is respected and appreciated. Everyone attending the B.R.O.S. Team programs is asked to help continue this atmosphere of respect. In line with the Mission Statement of the Chaplaincy, we honour all men’s physical, social, emotional, political and spiritual needs. We also respect men’s sexuality and ethnic differences. Diversity makes the world go round and makes our community an interesting place.
The B.R.O.S. Team is an initiative of the Carlington Community Chaplaincy and is sponsored by the Carlington Community Chaplaincy Council.
What the B.R.O.S. Team is all about
The B.R.O.S. Team is a group of men in the Carlington area who gather to talk about the needs of men in the community. They are men who want to lend a hand to contribute to the building of a strong, safe and active community.
The B.R.O.S. Team offers opportunities for men to get together for social time, to join together in projects for the betterment of the community and to build on the strengths of men in the community. It provides a chance for men to get involved and to get to know each other and the community better.
